“一切都是命運，一切都是煙云”。北島作為朦朧詩代表人物之一，曾以振聾發聵的聲音喊出了一代人的困惑與反抗。2007年北島受邀執教于香港中文大學，并致力于詩歌教育，先后發起了“香港國際詩歌之夜”、《給孩子的詩》等活動。

30年前，舒婷和北島兩位文化思想解放斗士，沖破特殊時代文學藝術的長期禁錮，開創了朦朧詩的藝術道路，被譽為“北島南舒”。兩人《一切》與《這也是一切》的詩歌對話，已成為朦朧詩史上的經典。然而作為多年好友，北島從未踏足過舒婷的家鄉廈門，此次鼓浪嶼詩歌節促成兩位老朋友在鼓浪嶼上重新相遇，將在當代詩壇留下一段佳話。

北島

北島，原名趙振開，1949年8月2日生于北京，祖籍浙江湖州，香港中文大學講座教授。中國當代詩人，為朦朧詩代表人物之一，是民間詩歌刊物《今天》的創辦者。

北島曾著有多部詩集，作品被譯成20余種文字，先后獲諾貝爾文學獎提名、瑞典筆會文學獎、美國西部筆會中心自由寫作獎、古根海姆獎等，并被選為美國藝術文學院終身榮譽院士。北島是當代影響最大的中國詩人之一。著有詩集《北島詩歌集》、《太陽城札記》、《北島顧城詩選》、《陌生的海灘》，散文集《失敗之書》和小說《波動》等，代表詩作有《回答》《一切》 。

這個10月，鼓浪嶼將成為名副其實的“詩歌之島”。10月21日，由鳳凰網、鼓浪嶼管委會、廈門文學藝術界聯合會主辦，鳳凰文化、鳳凰廈門承辦的“2016鳳凰•鼓浪嶼詩歌節”將在鼓浪嶼盛大開幕。這是鼓浪嶼第一次舉辦專業性的國際詩歌節。詩歌節旨在以詩歌為載體，促成一次東西方、兩岸三地之間的文化交流。

詩歌節期間將舉辦一系列的詩歌論壇、采風、詩歌朗誦會、跨界音樂會等活動。屆時，舒婷、北島、鄭愁予、余秀華、水田宗子、維雅•庫普里揚諾夫、胡安•卡洛斯•梅斯特等海內外近百位詩人、周云蓬、鐘立風、蔣山等跨界藝術家等將齊聚鼓浪嶼，在美麗的海島上寫詩、讀詩、唱詩、聽詩。
